What is a link building tool?

A link building tool is software that manages the process of earning backlinks — storing the sites you want to pitch, finding their contact details, sending the outreach and tracking what comes back. It replaces the spreadsheet-plus-inbox setup most teams run, so no prospect is pitched twice and no reply is lost.

MRK Outreach covers the outreach side end to end. It does not buy links, and it does not pretend to: the judgement about who is worth pitching stays with you.

What is blogger outreach?

Blogger outreach is the practice of contacting the people who run relevant websites and proposing something worth publishing — a guest post, an expert quote, a resource worth linking to. It is how editorial backlinks are earned rather than bought, and the difference between a reply and silence is usually relevance and personalisation, not volume.

Can link building be automated?

The repetitive half can: finding contact addresses, sending, chasing, filing replies and suppressing anyone who opted out. The judgement half cannot — deciding which sites are worth a pitch and what you are actually offering them is the part that decides whether the campaign works, and that stays yours by design.

This is also why the tool sends from your own mailbox rather than a shared pool: automated sending at scale from a stranger’s infrastructure is what gets outreach filtered as spam.

How do you find the right contact email for a prospect?

Start from the domain, not a person: the tool crawls the site for published addresses, scores each candidate by confidence, and runs an MX check so you are not sending to an inbox that cannot receive mail. Anything it cannot verify is flagged rather than guessed at, because a bounced first email damages the sending reputation you need for the rest of the campaign.

What should a link building outreach email say?

Say who you are, why you are writing to them specifically, and what they get — in that order, in under 120 words. Name the page you read, make one concrete offer, and ask a question they can answer in a sentence. Templates handle the scaffolding; the personalised line at the top is what earns the reply.

How many outreach emails can you send a day?

Fewer than you think, and that is the point. New mailboxes warm up over days rather than hours, and a sustainable ceiling for a single Gmail account is tens of emails a day, sent with gaps rather than in a burst. The tool enforces the warm-up, the daily cap and the spacing for you.

Volume is not the lever anyway. A relevant list and a personalised first line beat three times the send rate, and they do not cost you the mailbox.

What it does

The whole campaign in one place, not three

Most link building runs across a spreadsheet, an inbox and a memory. This replaces all three.

Prospecting

Link prospecting & import

Bring target sites in from a CSV or XLSX export and get one clean, de-duplicated prospect list to work from.

Contacts

Email finder

Finds the right address for each domain, scores it by confidence and MX-checks it, so you are not emailing dead inboxes.

Sending

Blogger outreach

Pitches go out from your own Gmail, personalised per prospect, with warm-up, daily caps and gaps between sends.

Templates

Outreach templates

Build a template once, personalise it per prospect, and regenerate any individual draft you are not happy with.

Automation

Automated follow-ups

Follow-up sequences send on schedule and cancel themselves the second somebody replies.

Replies

AI drafting & triage

AI classifies every reply and drafts the response, declining paid-link asks and escalating anything sensitive to you.

Hygiene

Bounce & opt-out handling

Bounces and anyone asking to stop are detected and added to a suppression list automatically.

Output

Tagging & CSV export

Tag guest posts and link insertions as they are agreed, and export prospects and results whenever you need them.

How it works

How to run a link building outreach campaign

Step 1

Import your prospects

CSV or XLSX from wherever you built the list, or add domains by hand. Duplicates are merged on import.

Step 2

Find the contact

Each domain gets a confidence-scored contact address, MX-checked so the inbox can actually receive mail.

Step 3

Approve and send

You approve the batch; it sends from your Gmail and follows up on its own until they answer.

Step 4

Handle the replies

Replies are detected and triaged. Agreed placements are tagged as guest posts or link insertions for you to take over.

Who it is for

Built for people who send outreach every week

Not a sales CRM with link building bolted on. Every pitch, reply and follow-up sits against the domain it belongs to, because that is how link building is actually tracked — by site, not by contact.

Questions

Link building software FAQ

Does it send from my own email?
Yes. You connect your own Gmail and every pitch and follow-up goes out from it, with warm-up, daily caps and randomised gaps between sends. Nothing is sent from a shared pool, so your sending reputation stays yours.
Are there free link building tools in the trial?
The 14-day trial is the complete tool, not a cut-down version — prospect import, email finding, sending, follow-ups and reply handling. No credit card, cancel anytime.
Does it reply to prospects automatically?
It drafts the reply and classifies what came back. Anything sensitive — a contract, a refusal, a paid-link request, anything it is unsure of — is held for you to approve. Paid-link asks get a polite automatic decline and are flagged to you.
Can I use it for broken link building or guest posting?
Yes. The workflow is the same whichever angle you pitch: import the domains, find the contact, send the pitch. Agreed placements are tagged as guest posts or link insertions so you can report on them separately.
What happens to bounces and opt-outs?
Both are detected automatically and added to a suppression list, so nobody who asked to stop is contacted again and a dead address is not retried.
Where do I get my prospect list from?
Wherever you build it today — export to CSV or XLSX and import it. The tool handles finding the contact address, de-duplication and everything after that.
Is it an outreach CRM?
It is an outreach CRM built for link building rather than sales: records are keyed to the domain, not the person, and the pipeline stages are the ones a link campaign actually has — queued, sent, opened, replied, agreed.
Can I have it run for me instead?
Yes — that is what the backlink services and off-page SEO engagements are for. The tool is for teams who want to run it themselves.
