MRK Tools · SEO / GEO / AEO
MRK Audit is an SEO audit tool that crawls your website and scores it three ways: classic SEO for Google’s blue links, GEO for generative engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, and AEO for Google’s AI Overviews. Every finding comes with the exact fix, and a full audit takes about two minutes.

The short answers
| Score | What it measures | Where it shows up | What the audit checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| SEO | Whether Google can crawl, understand and rank your pages. | Classic blue-link results and the local pack. | Titles, H1s, internal links, Core Web Vitals, schema, crawlability, thin content, broken links. |
| GEO | Whether generative engines can find and use your content. | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot. | Extractable answers, entity clarity, llms.txt, bot access, content chunking, citation-worthy structure. |
| AEO | Whether you are the answer that gets quoted. | Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, featured snippets. | Direct-answer formatting, question coverage, FAQ and HowTo schema, answer position on the page. |
An SEO audit is a systematic check of a website against the things search engines use to crawl, understand and rank it — technical health, on-page content, site structure and links. The output is a prioritised list of problems and the fixes for them. A useful audit does not stop at naming the problem: it tells you the change to make and which page to make it on.
MRK Audit runs more than 50 of these checks automatically and adds two scores that a traditional audit does not cover: GEO and AEO.
You rank in AI Overviews by being the clearest source of a specific answer, not by being the highest-ranked page overall. In practice that means answering the question in the first two sentences under a heading that matches how people ask it, keeping each answer self-contained, marking up FAQs and processes with schema, and staying crawlable to Google-Extended.
The audit’s AEO score checks each of those and tells you which pages are close enough to be worth rewriting first.
ChatGPT and Perplexity cite pages they can retrieve, parse and trust: pages that load without JavaScript gymnastics, state facts plainly near the top, name their entities explicitly rather than relying on pronouns, and are not blocked to AI crawlers in robots.txt. Brand mentions elsewhere on the web matter too — retrieval leans on corroboration.
The GEO score tests your pages against a set of prompts and reports which ones you were cited for and which ones a competitor took.
Yes. Generative engines are built on top of a search index — if Google cannot crawl a page or considers it thin, an AI engine is unlikely to retrieve it either. Technical SEO is the entry fee for AI visibility, which is why the three scores sit in one report rather than two tools.
Run the three scores on your own site and see which one is holding you back.

See whether ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity can find you, which prompts you are cited for, and which ones you lost.
Catches thin, hard-to-read and off-topic pages, plus the answer gaps a generative engine needs filled before it will quote you.
LCP, INP and CLS, mobile rendering, schema validity and crawl budget — each issue with a step-by-step fix.
Generates the structured data and the llms.txt file that make your pages legible to AI crawlers, ready to paste.
Prioritised, plainly written fixes you can copy, paste and ship. No jargon, and no list of metrics without an instruction.
Keyword gap, cannibalisation and content-decay checks against the sites already taking your answers.
Branded PDF and CSV exports, and fully white-labelled reports on the Agency plan.
How it works
Any site — yours, a client’s, a competitor’s. No install, no tracking tag, no code on the page.
The crawler walks your pages and returns three scores: SEO, GEO and AEO, with every check itemised.
Findings are ranked by severity, each with the exact change to make and the page to make it on.
Send a branded PDF to the client, or re-audit on a schedule and watch the score move.
For agencies
On the Agency plan the reports carry your branding, not mine. Thirty client websites, bulk auditing, five team seats and a re-audit monitor that watches every client site at once — so the audit you send a prospect on Monday is the same one that proves your work in month three.
Why this one
Who uses it
Most audit tools hand you a list of problems. This one hands you the fixes, written out, ordered by what will move the needle first.
